This option is generally best reserved for what would be considered high value plots of land due to the initial cost of setting up an LHC. Also you will be subject to taxes on profit and require a 51% share of the LHC to be in the name of a local partner making this option more suitable for investors with fairly large corporate backing.

Renting Land in Cambodia

Long term renting or leasing land is a great option if you are looking to develop a residential or commercial property aimed at bringing you a high rental return on investment. The upside to this option is once your project begins to generate sufficient income it can be a stepping stone to setting up an LHC as above.
