Helen semigrated to Hout Bay from Sandton seven years ago and has since totally immersed herself in the Cape and enjoys the numerous historical homesteads, cuisine, wine and culture of the Western Cape.

Helen has established herself as a prominent member of the community. Not only was she the secretary of the Hout Bay Residents and Ratepayers Association for three years but she was also involved in a feeding scheme called "The Hout Bay 50 cents project" and "Fresh Air for Hout Bay" - an environmental group concerned about the pollution emitted from the Oceana Fish factory. Helen is also an active member of the Democratic Alliance Ward 74 campaign which covers Hout Bay and Llandudno.

Helen is passionate about animals, particularly rescuing cats and spends much of her leisure time working in the garden or walking on the beach.

She is a lover of travel, local and abroad, and is incredibly excited by new destinations and experiences. Helen has a keen interest in various creative crafts such as painting, mosaic work and restoring furniture.

She also enjoys learning Metaphysics and has actively pursued Kinesiology, Aromatherapy and Space Clearing. She has a vast collection of crystals which she also uses for healing and meditation.

Helen worked in the property area of the banking sector for 33 years and her passion has always been in property, and she now concentrates on residential property sales.

She passed the Estate Agency Affairs Board exam in 1986 and then attained her Diploma in Advanced Property Practice (Dip. A.P.P.) through the Institute of Estate Agents of South Africa in 1992.

Her gentle nature adds warmth to the office environment and her work effort is tireless.
